A Note From Jason

Celebrating our BONS award with our winning team!

Hi everyone!

Happy fall! It always seems that the weather really changes right after Labor Day and then along
with chilly mornings, we are subjected to earlier sunsets and cooler nights. I enjoy the beauty and charm
of the ever-changing seasons in New England. To me, fall means the addition of color outside with the
brilliant foliage and then a pull towards more color inside as well as I start to crave cozy and comfort
over the easy breezy mode of summer.

We are over the moon with our feeling of pride for the recent “Best of the Northshore” award
that we won from Northshore Magazine. No matter how many awards we win, it never gets old. As the
competition in our industry gets more intense, the standards get higher and each accolade becomes
harder to attain. This award means a lot to me and my colleagues as it is a testament to the efforts of all
of our employees. From our truck drivers to our purchasing agents to our sales associates to our
receptionists, and all the other indispensable people who work to make our business operate smoothly,
I applaud you and I appreciate you.

Speaking of awards, I’m sure you are all familiar with the Emmys and the Oscars and many of the other
shows that pay tribute to people in the world of entertainment. The design/build industry also has a
host of award programs. We are thrilled to report that many of the 2022 recipients of these special
honors are people who have asked us to provide our products and expertise to help bring their
incredible projects to fruition. We are privileged to have the opportunity to collaborate with these
talented professionals as they create incredible homes and add beauty to communities.

The founder of Cradock Builders, Kevin Cradock, received a prestigious award designation at the recent
IFDA (International Furnishings and Design Association/New England) Gala. In his acceptance remarks,
he was quick to attribute his success to the teamwork and activities conducted by his employees. We
were glad to host a few of them at our Watertown showroom to select items for this month’s blog.
We’re pleased to introduce you to our guest bloggers, the project coordinator team from Cradock
Builders, Sarah Hudson, Tiara Butler-Smith, Michael Palmer, Denise Grothman and Brenda Stern.
Alongside talented architects, designers and trade partners, Cradock Builders helps each customer
realize their vision: the construction, renovation, or restoration of their ideal home.

Let us know what you think of their picks below!

All the best,

Jason Sevinor

THE GALLEY WORKSTATION

As a group, we all love The Galley Workstation. It appeals to so many different people aesthetically and it’s an efficient use of space. It’s a genuine workstation with features that are easily accessible. No matter what style of kitchen you have or if you like to prep, cook, or serve, it will help make your job easier.

When you’re hosting guests, it’s truly a showcase piece that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone can gather together in your kitchen without feeling crowded or in the way. The Galley Workstation is truly a wonderful
addition to any home.

ELEMENTAL CONSOLE VANITY FROM STONE FOREST

The Elemental Console Vanity from Stone Forest is paired with the Verge Bath Sink in the showroom and while we love the look of both together, they are beautiful pieces on their own. The console isn’t a traditional vanity but a piece of furniture that brings a sleek and modern feel to any bathroom and helps to elevate the space. From afar, the pipes (support system) appear almost bamboo-like for a natural style but up close, it’s much more industrial.

This piece is also functional. Since it’s a little bigger than your typical single sink vanity, it has great storage. You could fit 4-5 towels on the shelf and it even has a pull-out drawer. When a powder room vanity can hold more than just a single soap dispenser, it adds so much value to spaces both
large and small.

VERGE BATH SINK FROM STONE FOREST

We selected the Verge Bath Sink and the previously mentioned Stone Forest Elemental Vanity because of how stunning they look together. The sink itself is made of beautifully carved stone and it’s truly an eye-catching piece. You can tell it was thoughtfully crafted with a luxury feel in mind. When paired with the console, it has a modern vibe but at the same time is very warm and rustic. We think this would be a great addition to any setting from an industrial apartment, to a renovated farmhouse, to a chic city loft.

SQUARE FLUSH MOUNT RAIN MACHINE

This exquisite shower head is thin, clean, and contemporary and brings a new level of luxury to your shower experience. We were able to turn this on in the showroom and it really functions like you’re standing in the rain. From the noise to the water pressure, everything about it channels relaxation. If you decide to include a rain shower in your bathroom, you have to go BIG and this is the perfect one. It’s a self-care item for the ultimate spa-experience in the comfort of your own home.

MTI TEAK SHOWER TRAY

This wooden flooring option for a shower stall captivated us because it added a natural and tactile element to a part of the bathroom that is typically overlooked. It was displayed in the showroom in a really interesting setup. It immediately reminded us of summer vacation, beach houses, and cabanas. We could almost smell the coconut oil and sea salt. It’s not an item you see in many showers and it certainly adds a touch of calming and organic energy that a lot of customers are looking for in their custom showers. The teak is warm, inviting, and sleek, reminiscent of the wood floors in an outdoor shower after a long day at the beach.
