A Note From Jason
We are honored that our 3rd generation family owned business has once again been nominated for the Best of Northshore Home Awards!
Hi everyone,
Happy July! We’ve finally made it to the fleeting three months of “official” summer in New England. Time to cue the fireworks, outdoor celebrations, and summer vacations with the family.
Whether or not you are from the Northshore area (home of our headquarters), we invite you to support our nominations for Northshore Magazine’s Best of Northshore (BONS) Awards this year. We are thrilled to be nominated and proud of our team’s hard work, since that is what enabled us to be in the competition. We’ve been nominated in the “fixtures” category for both bath and kitchen. You can vote here. As a 3rd generation family-owned business that has continually focused on providing exceptional customer service and developing long-standing relationships throughout the Northshore, we are honored to be on the ballot again.
I hope all of you get some time away soon and make your summer vacation dreams a reality. Speaking of manifesting dreams — this month’s blogger, Daniel G. Steger of DGS/a Architecture + Design, does just that for his clients, guiding them from dream to reality by designing custom homes that reflect their vision of form and function. Daniel is the founder and principal of DGS/a Architecture + Design, a Boston & New England architecture firm dedicated to custom residential design and interior services. Daniel holds a Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a registered architect in Massachusetts and member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Daniel is dedicated to creating contemporary spaces and details which co-exist comfortably with New England’s period homes.
We were delighted to welcome Daniel to our showroom. Let us know what you think of his picks below.
All the Best,

GRAFF WAND HANDSHOWER
I love the simplicity and compactness of the Graff Wand Handshower. It’s all brass so it feels sturdy in your hand. Unlike some other handshowers, the supply and holder are all-in-one, making it even more efficient. When it comes to utility and space saving design, go Graff.
TOTO WALL HUNG TOILET
Toto makes great toilets and the Wall Hung Toilet is no exception. I have two in my own home and they’re such great space savers and immediately elevate any style. When you attach the tank to the wall, you end up saving nine inches at the front of the fixture, which is great for smaller bathrooms. As a bonus, if you have a mosaic tile floor, you won’t disrupt
the design!
ARTELINEA MONOLITE 18 BASIN TOP
The Artelinea Monolite 18 Basin Top is just beautiful to look at and adds a touch of sophistication to the décor. For my aesthetic, I would rather introduce textures rather than a multitude of colors —this one is a single bold color with a stunning ripple texture. The simplicity of it makes it the perfect addition to either a traditional or contemporary home.
ROBERN M SERIES CABINET AND ROBERN INLINE VERTICAL LIGHTING
Robern is always my go-to medicine cabinet. They’re wonderfully constructed, simple in detailing and the M Series Cabinet and Inline Vertical Lighting is unmatched when it comes to features. If you’re looking to simplify the vanity design scheme, the inline mirror and the light are all in the same plane and you don’t need to settle for unflattering top-down lighting. You get a mirror inside the door, on the back of the cabinet, and on the front so you can see yourself whether the door is open or closed. It also has an outlet so your electric toothbrush, hair dryers, and shavers can plug right in. There’s a magnetic holder for tweezers, scissors, and more for easy grooming, a mirror defogger and a 12-hour cycle night lite. No matter what feature you need, this Robern cabinet has it.
TRIO OF MUST-HAVE ITEMS: HANSGROHE CRITTERIO PREP KITCHEN FAUCET, BRIZO SOLNA SOAP/LOTION DISPENSER, AND DORNBRACHT AIR SWITCH CONTROL BUTTON
I call this the holy trio because together they make the perfect faucet. I have this in my own home — it’s so thoughtfully designed that you could fit it into a period or contemporary home. The Hansgrohe Critterio Prep Kitchen Faucet swivels side to side, the Brizo Solna Soap Dispenser can declutter your countertop around the sink, and instead of reaching for a light switch to turn on the disposal, the Dornbracht Air Switch Control Button connects so you don’t have to drag wet hands across your space. The three fixtures
work together miraculously.
