A Note From Jason

On Wednesday, August 3, 2022, the Sevinor family celebrated the company’s 77th anniversary with
Mayor Michael Cahill of Beverly.

Hi Everyone!

Last Wednesday, Mayor Michael Cahill of Beverly visited our showroom to wish us a happy anniversary. We are very proud of the long history that Salem Plumbing Supply and Designer Bath has in Beverly. We opened our doors at this location over 35 years ago when we left Salem for a bigger and better spot. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to show Mayor Cahill the recent remodel of our showroom and to talk about our plans for future investment into enhancements of the site.

I think everyone would agree that anniversaries and birthdays are wonderful times for connecting with family members. Our company is built on the blood, sweat and tears of three generations of my family. I loved having the chance to tell my parents once again how much I appreciate how hard they worked and how seriously I take our commitment to the company, the community, and our customers. My dad always said that if you treat your clients and your employees like family, things will always work out. As I try to uphold his focus on providing exceptional service and quality products in a warm and welcoming environment, I hope he is as proud of me as I am of him.

We also believe that by lifting others up, we make the world a better place. We show this by our local philanthropic efforts and our ongoing support of other professionals in our industry. This fall we are sponsoring the Salem Hospital Golf Tournament and attending the Women of Essex County’s Annual Luncheon, and encourage you to join us. On a daily basis, we collaborate with local designers, builders, and architects and are glad to use our social media channels and contact lists to highlight their amazing abilities.

This month, we would like to introduce you to Diana Pauro, the founder and head of Rebel Builders, an innovative design-build women-led and operated company based in Newton, MA. Diana is passionate about utilizing global talents and modern tools such as virtual reality. Diana has a master’s in Architecture and Urban planning from her home country in Argentina and has been working in construction since she was fifteen.

We were pleased to welcome Diana to our Watertown showroom. Let us know what you think of her picks below.

All the best,

 Jason Sevinor

BRIZO LITZE SMART TOUCH PULL DOWN KITCHEN FAUCET

I’ve used the Brizo Litze Smart Touch Pull Down Kitchen Faucet with the knurling detail in a few projects because I love how modern it is. Some smart technology requires a battery but you can hardwire this one to reduce the need for upkeep. I try to make life easier for all my clients and when they have this faucet, they don’t have to worry about turning the water on or off while washing their hands when they’re in the middle of cooking with meat. It’s hygienic and makes the entire cooking process more efficient. It’s so beautiful and practical, and a wonderful addition to any kitchen.

CROSSWATER HEIR WIDESPREAD BASIN FAUCET

The Heir Widespread Basin Faucet is an example of a classic look mixed with a bit of a modern edge. I’ve used it in bathrooms where I want a nice finish that isn’t too shiny or strong and the brushed brass is perfect. I really love the Crosswater brand because their products are gorgeous and the whole collection complements any space. This faucet doesn’t feel too ornamental or too understated. Since I typically opt for bold designs, it’s nice to have a fixture that doesn’t overwhelm everything else.

CROSSWATER SPA TOILET

The Crosswater Ressa X1 Spa Toilet is simply amazing. It’s an ecological and sanitary way to have a bidet and I consider it a must in every home. I love how Crosswater created a design that’s so easy to clean and at a good price point. It’s not just a toilet, it’s an appliance with many high-end features – from a heated seat to an air dryer, night light, and of course the built-in bidet. As a bonus, I can have beautiful wallpaper with vibrant design elements and this toilet will still seamlessly
fit into the aesthetic.

LACAVA LINEA WALL MOUNT VANITY

I consider this piece to be “functional jewelry” when it comes to design. While storage space is maximized to use every inch, surprisingly you still get a sleek, clean look with a number of options for finishes and metals. I love the straight lines of this vanity and the shelves are so versatile. As a curator for my clients, I try to highlight the pieces that will be multi-functional and make them feel pampered without going overboard with too many bells and whistles. This vanity would look amazing in front of a colorful wall or can work just as successfully in a neutral bathroom.

MTI JULIET BATH

If you want to bring a taste of luxury to your home bathroom, then you need the MTI Juliet Tub. It’s eye candy, comfortable, and accessible. After a long day, you deserve a tub to relax in with a glass of wine and some soft music to transport yourself to a spa. I always encourage my clients to test out the tubs in the showroom to get a true feel for them — this MTI one has garnered the most love and has become a favorite.
