A Note From Jason

Mindy and I with Brian Gallop from GRAFF at our Lunch & Learn earlier this month!
Hi Everyone!
I recently returned from another one of my father-son adventures – this time with my 11-year-old son, Jack, to Quebec City. It was an active trip filled with dog sledding, cold plunging in -6 degrees, snow tubing on double black diamonds, spending a night in an ice hotel, and, most importantly, strengthening the bond of love and gratitude I share with my son. After spending most of our time outdoors, I’m not sure if I’ve fully warmed back up yet!
On the work front, things are busy and dynamic! Our customers are taking advantage of the incredible deals we’re offering at the Designer Bath Outlet in Beverly. It brings me joy to see their excitement when they discover fabulous fixtures for their homes at fantastic prices.
I’ve also been reflecting on the importance of the relationships we’ve built with the manufacturers and representatives of the products we offer.
A couple of weeks ago, we hosted, we hosted a Lunch & Learn event in partnership with GRAFF Designs at our Watertown showroom. Our GRAFF representative had recently visited Paris and attended a conference on design. He shared insights about the latest trends and innovations in interior design. We were also fortunate to get a sneak peek at new and stylish products from GRAFF that will be launched in the U.S. later this year. These new fixtures are high fashion, and everyone was impressed with the fresh approach. We can’t wait to display them in our showrooms!
In addition to the manufacturers we partner with, we also value our connections with local designers, architects, and builders. We are always grateful when they choose to collaborate with Designer Bath. Their expertise and skills enable us to excel and truly shine for our clients.

THE GALLEY WORKSTATION
I love The Galley Workstation because it’s so multifunctional. It’s more than just a sink – it’s a full workspace. You can set it up to fulfill different purposes, like a prep area or even as a serving station for trays, bowls, and plates. The walnut finish is a great touch, too. I’m really into walnut right now, especially with the kitchens we’ve been designing that feature walnut paneling. The included accessories (cutting board, veggie rack, and recessed bowl) fit perfectly into the sink area and work well for anyone who enjoys cooking, or even for someone aspiring to be a chef. It’s a highly versatile and practical piece.
COLONIAL BRONZE DRAWER PULL WITH LEATHER WRAPPING
I love Colonial Bronze for their customization options – you can choose any size, length, or diameter for knobs and pulls. What makes this drawer pull stand out is the ability to wrap it in various leathers, like pebble grain or alligator print. As a result of my history working with them, I appreciate the quality and weight of their pieces – they feel substantial. It’s definitely one of my faves.

GRAFF HARLEY KITCHEN FAUCET
GRAFF is such a quality brand, known for their craftsmanship and use of premium brass. I love that they design and build all their own plumbing fixtures. The Graff Harley Kitchen Faucet is sleek and streamlined, with a solid, well-built feel when you adjust the handle. The burnished onyx finish is so sexy – it has a subtle sheen but remains matte, giving it a clean, modern, and sophisticated look.
LINKASINK COCO SINK
The Linkasink Coco sink is an interesting choice for us because, while we typically lean towards clean, modern lines, we love the character that comes with this unlacquered finish. It will age and patina over time, developing unique qualities. Many modern designers shy away from pieces that naturally evolve, but we enjoy mixing these elements into contemporary spaces. It’s a great way to introduce a European patina into a modern design.

THG DEAN WIDESPREAD LAVATORY SET
This faucet embodies THG’s signature no-fuss design – clean, intentional, and purposeful. The silhouette is absolutely beautiful, and as an aviation geek, I love how the widespread handles resemble propeller blades. I could literally envision this in a private plane or in a home of an aviation lover. It’s sleek, elegant, and makes a strong statement, especially in a powder room – understated yet elegant.
