A Note From Jason
I hope you are enjoying the warmer weather that has finally come our way. There is no better time of year than summer in New England, when you can drive with the windows down, go to the beach, or simply sit outside with a good book or magazine.
Speaking of magazines, allow us to toot our own horn for a moment. We have recently been featured in both New England Home magazine and Boston Magazine. Both instances featured our marvelous Stone Forest Marble tub that has received a great deal of attention as of late. Make sure to stop by our Watertown showroom to see it for yourself — it is the first piece you see when you walk through the door.
Another great reason to stop by our showroom this month is our Annual Sale. Starting June 15, we’ll be offering major discounts at both of our showroom locations. Join us for our Annual Sale kick-off event at our Beverly showroom at 97 River Street on Saturday the 15th. We will have a big tent with extra crazy discounted items, as well as fun activities for the whole family.
We recently had the pleasure of inviting interior designer Victoria Wood into our showroom to select her favorite pieces. Victoria is owner of V Wood Interiors located here in Boston, Nantucket, New York, and Palm Beach. Her team is rooted in the belief that great design comes from innovative solutions, attention to detail, and devotion to designing for each client’s lifestyle. We couldn’t be more excited to share her favorites with you.
Wishing you a terrific June!
STONE FOREST CALMA BATHTUB | HONED MARQUINA | TAUPE FINISH
From the moment you walk into Designer Bath’s Watertown showroom, this tub grabs your attention. I believe taking a hot bath is the most accessible and affordable mood booster — and soaking in a carved stone tub is peak luxuriousness. Carved from gorgeous blocks of Limestone and Marquina Taupe, the calming lines of this exquisite piece will prompt you to relax as soon as you see it. Stone Forest has an endless array of unique tubs that can be the perfect feature in any bathroom.
DORNBRACHT SUPERNOVA LAVATORY MIXER | CHAMPAGNE
Dornbracht is a dynamic manufacturer that provides updated designs for different esthetic styles; they have something for everyone, whether that be classic or contemporary. I especially love this faucet’s design. Aside from its sleek look, its functionality drew my attention, as the two handles make the piece easy to use. The champagne finish elevates the look – making it on-trend while complimenting a variety of other metals such as chrome, bronze, and brass.
TOTO WALL-HUNG TOILET
We work with many city clients who have small-scale bathrooms. This space-saving wall-mounted toilet from Toto is perfect for city living. With its clean lines, this toilet can meld with transitional or contemporary interiors. I love this piece’s versatility and the fact that it’s effortless to clean. I must add that the Dornbracht Supernova tissue holder is an absolute complement to this piece. It’s not only stylish but also makes changing the roll so simple — no more excuses!
FURNITURE GUILD CONTEMPORARY FRAMELESS MEDICINE CABINET
I love clean countertops in the bathroom, which is why I love the practicality of a medicine cabinet. This piece from Furniture Guild can be recessed or wall mounted. In the Designer Bath showroom, it’s wall mounted with a beautiful wood frame that would add class and warmth to any bathroom.
HUDSON VALLEY WALKER LIGHT WALL SCONCE | OLD BRONZE
An amazing bonus of the Watertown showroom is that besides all the plumbing fixtures, accessories, vanities and hardware you need for a bathroom design — they also have a great assortment of lighting! We adore this light fixture because it has a masculine feel and is a great piece to transition you out of “farmhouse chic” to “industrial”.
